How do third world countries contribute to globalization?

I have to give a speech that counters the claim that third world countries, in particular Jamaica, don’t participate as global citizens. So basically, I’m just looking for ideas on how these third world countries contribute to globalization, and how its not just North Americans and Europeans contributing as global citizens. Any idea is appreciated =] Thanks

Globalization means international trade and multinational businesses. Developing countries are key part of it since globalization often boils down to outsourcing jobs to cheap labor in developing countries.

Countries participate by lowering trade barriers (tariffs, quotas or other restriction) and making it easy safe for foreign businesses to operate in their country.

Globalization is a not some kind of higher goal that countries contribute to, it’s a tool for improving their own economies. Developed countries get cheaper goods, developing countries get jobs, investment, technology. If Jamaica government chooses to stay out of globalization, it is not hurting anybody except their own citizens.

If you need a thing, that west contributes to, and developing countries don’t, there’s climate change, hunger, poverty, war, AIDS and tropical diseases.
